MLS GO PLAY FUND

The MLS GO PLAY FUND is an annual financial commitment from Major League Soccer (MLS), an initiative designed to expand access to youth recreational soccer through MLS GO leagues. This fund is dedicated to removing economic barriers and supporting our mission to make soccer more accessible for all children.  

What is the MLS GO PLAY FUND?  

The MLS GO PLAY FUND provides annual financial support to help offset seasonal costs for MLS GO League operators and individual players. Our aim is to ensure that as many children as possible can participate in youth soccer programs.

The MLS GO PLAY FUND currently offers three types of grants to current MLS GO participants and operators:   

1. Individual Grants - To assist in partial participation scholarships for MLS GO participants. 

2. Organization Grants - For MLS GO league operators to assist with program costs.   

3. National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Grants - For Parks & Recreation agencies currently operating or planning to launch MLS GO leagues to help offset program costs.
