CAREER HIGHLIGHTS (CHICAGO FIRE):

• Chicago Fire FC acquired Designated Player Hugo Cuypers for a record transfer fee on February 6, 2024.
• Cuypers made his MLS debut against the Philadelphia Union, playing 88 minutes on Feb. 24 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa. Cuypers has appeared in 17 matches (17 starts) in 2024 for Chicago Fire FC.
• Cuypers scored his first career MLS goal on March 16, scoring a game-tying goal against CF Montreal at Soldier Field.
• Cuypers then became the first Fire player to score in back-to-back contests this season with a goal in a 1-1 draw against the New England Revolution on March 23. Also the first player to have goal contributions in three straight matches this season after scoring against the LA Galaxy on June 1.
